Mandala Art Design

What is a Mandala ?
A MANDALA is a complex abstract design that is usually circular in form . Infact Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means circle - Art is Fun

mandala (Sanskrit: मण्डल, maṇḍala; literally "circle") is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe.[1] In common use, "mandala" has become a generic term for any diagram, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically; a microcosm of the universe. - Wikipedia

A mandala is an abstract art or a diagram which represents different things to different people . What you see in the Mandala image is whats going on inside you . Mandala is a round image which holds a story , your story , story about your mental , spiritual , emotional or physical well being . Mandala is used by holistic health practitioners as therapy and healing . The Mandala you create reflects your true inner self or soul self . There is no one way to create a mandala . You can create your own designs , shapes , forms and each mandala created by you will have a specific meaning for you . It is used in various cultures for different  reasons like for meditation , healing , accessing higher consciousness and more. Scientist CARL JUNG has called it a '' representation of our unconscious self '' .

The Mandala Workshop was at faculty of food , Satya Niketan & It started an hour late . We Played games , We laughed and Had fun together . Medha was extremely confident and friendly and I was actually quiet shock to know that this was her Debut Workshop :p . All the Materials were provided for in the workshop and they charged Rs 1000 /- including the material . All in all it was great experience . The workshop was Fun and it took us all almost 2 hours to create our own Mandalas .
